Rent-a-Designer
Whether you’re looking for design help with small projects or just need some garden troubleshooting, our Rent-a-Designer service is perfect for you.
Our time is yours when you select this service. Ask us all your questions, from what plants bring the most pollinators, to what the heck do I do with clay soil. We’ve got the answers and we’re ready to share. Rent-a-Designer is perfect for simple planning and single bed designs. Designers can make digital sketches using photos taken during consultations to help you visualize the space.
Minimum of $100 for 90 minutes. Additional time is $55 per hour
Virtual option available for minimum of $65 for 60 minutes and additional time at $55 per hour.
A $0.50 travel fee will apply to in person consultations outside of Richland and Lexington counties.
Garden Plans
For detailed, full yard spaces we offer digital hand drawn blueprints of your space. Our plans take the guesswork out of planning your space by providing a hand drawn glimpse into future of your space. See below for plan options:
- Basic: This option includes a custom blueprint of site, custom plant palette and supplier recommendations. Ideal for those seeking a foundational plan with focus on layout and major element placement. We recommend this option for those looking for simple or less intensive projects or for those looking for a foundational plan to build upon themselves. The basic plan provides a layout of element placement, including paths, beds, structures, trees and shrubs. The basic plan includes suggested perennial placement with light conditions in the plan and recommended species in the plant palette, but note that the drawn plan does not include exact species placement. ($0.05) per square foot)
- Detailed: Includes a to scale custom blueprint with accompanying written plan detailing design rationale and implementation steps, and maintenance. This plan will also include a plant palette and supplier recommendations. This option is perfect for those looking for a complete step by step guide to making their dream garden come to life. The detailed plan provides a fully detailed drawn plan including all elements from paths, beds, trees to perennials and rain barrels. You can view an example of the guide here. ( $0.10) per square foot)
- Note that all plans include an initial consultation and follow up after design is complete. A $0.50 per mile travel fee will apply for in person visits outside of Richland and Lexington counties.
